Job Description
Responsible for the safe application and documentation of customized nutrition support therapies (parenteral or TPN and tube feeding) per Company’s policies and procedures, per current accepted standards of nutrition practice, and in accordance with the physician’s treatment plan. May also review clinical documentation to determine qualification per Medicare standards. Interfaces with internal and external customers as required, supporting smooth transition onto Coram/CVS service and on-going customer satisfaction. As a subject matter expert, supports non-clinical and clinical RD mentoring, operational and clinical report development/analysis, program projects and scheduling as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager-Dietitian Nutrition Support
Required Qualifications
Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) for those with direct patient assessment/clinical care responsibilities. Must obtain within 1 year of hire.
State licensure in the state the Registered Dietitian resides; other state licensure as requested to align with patient care
1- 3 years of Home Nutrition Support Patient Care and Clinical Operations
1-3 years of Customer Service experience
Preferred Qualifications
Payor experience
EMR experience, conflict resolution
Education
Bachelor Degree-Nutrition, Dietetics or related field
