5 + years’ experience working in a fast-paced mail facility or similar environment.
Strong communication (verbal, written, and listening) and interpersonal skills. You communicate openly and effectively, work collaboratively, and provide great customer service.
Experience driving for results by following up and through while collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., Facilities, Project Management, and IT), senior leaders, customers, and vendors. You have significant vendor management and process-improvement experience.
You have strong critical-thinking skills, work well under pressure, and are a proactive problem solver who digs into the details to make positive contributions. You can see around corners and resolve issues before they become problems.
You are data oriented, with the ability to gather and analyze metrics to guide decisions on system enhancements and process improvements.
You have a strong sense of urgency, are organized, and possess solid time management skills.
Comfortable cutting through ambiguity and taking the necessary steps to make things clearer and easier to navigate.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with (or willingness to learn) the following:
Scheduling or calendar software,
Logistics tracking software and BearTracks,
Secure locker software,
Database software (experience with FileMaker Pro is a plus), and
Highly proficient in Excel or Numbers, Pages or Word.
Ability to perform the following types of physical activities:
Lift up to 25 pounds,
Push/pull to move equipment,
Bend/stoop/squat/kneel, and
Reach above shoulders.
Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
Description
Take ownership for all secure locker operations, except IT integration. Understand and manage the operations associated with our secure locker master service agreement. Maintain a mindset focused on continual improvement and provide the leadership required to influence colleagues and vendors toward this goal. When issues arise, you take the lead in communicating with stakeholders and prioritize following through on resolutions. Work with project managers and vendor on new locker requests, project coordination, and installations. Track project deliverables and details to ensure deadlines are met. Proactively communicate and share updates. Work out details with project managers and vendor, obtain plans and invoices, and coordinate with colleagues to open POs with proper project codes. Manage preventative maintenance program for secure lockers. Ensure existing lockers are covered and add new lockers to the program once they are installed. Obtain estimates from vendor, check that maintenance PO amounts are not exceeded, and review invoices for accuracy. Create tracking spreadsheet for locker maintenance visits and hold vendor accountable for meeting service level agreements. Place calls to vendor for break/fix issues and follow up to ensure completion. Identify appropriate metrics and KPIs and distribute information to appropriate teams as needed. Has governance of secure locker dashboard to ensure both SRM and vendors adhere to agreements. Create best practices and ensure that locker operations are streamlined. This includes identifying process gaps and corresponding improvements, leveraging data, and existing SOP documents. Provide continuous training to colleagues to ensure secure locker operations are covered during absences. Maintain positive relationships using clear, consistent communication, and works collaboratively with the team. Address incoming emails, phone calls, and texts in a timely, efficient manner. Remain flexible and prepared for changes to the schedule, including working early mornings, evenings or weekends. Be resourceful and adaptable to changing needs. Complete other duties, as assigned. Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
