Business Program Management: Data Operations
The Business Program Manager: Data Operations on the Cross-Process Platforms and Data team will drive the improvement of data integrity across a wide range of teams by defining, overseeing, and deploying methods for monitoring, detecting, and solving data quality Issues. In this rewarding role, you will ensure data integrity goals are achieved by assessing existing processes and leveraging analytical skills to understand the metrics leaders use to make business decisions. You will manage strategic programs to ensure data supports the business through modern and intelligent technology and solutions such as Machine Learning and Cognitive Services. You will learn the business through the lens of end-to-end data by ensuring measurable business outcomes, clear objectives and key results are achieved.

Leverage intelligent technology to proactively detect, alert and prescribe resolution to data quality issues before they become disruptive to the business.
Manage the scope, processes, and performance of a vendor managed service as relates to project goals.
Partner with technical teams and stakeholders to create requirements and Journey Maps.
Design and propose end-state operational processes and team performance dashboards.
Analyze, map, and identify data impacts and/or gaps in current/future state solutions.
Create policies and business rules for effective data lifecycle management.
Define data quality expectations for troubleshooting issues and driving them to resolution.
Partner with business stakeholders to define data integrity goals by identifying proactive data quality scenarios to monitor and mitigate.
Understand solution data lineage and end-to-end data flows as an input into operational processes.
Facilitate effective communication by creating listening channels and communicating across stakeholders and partners.
Bring an innovative mindset to new operational processes and the delivery of citizen led solutions.
Active participation in Data Management forums and online classes to support interest in learning about latest players, strategies, and approaches in Data Management space.
Measure and monitor business value realization through documented success criteria, objectives, and key results (OKR)
Qualifications
Required:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in data management, data operations, data governance and/or data engineering or product owner related to BI solutions.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management with emphasis on mitigating large scale change impacts; hand-on experience designing roadmaps, schedules, and maintaining effective communication mechanisms with a range of stakeholders.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Software Development Lifecycles.
Working knowledge of Power BI, cloud technologies and modern database design.
A curious, persistent, and analytical mindset to identify and solve complex problems.
Hands on experience with managing the life cycle of data across business processes, insights, and analytics.
Demonstrated flexibility with a willingness to fill in the gaps and take initiative.
Demonstrated ability to seamlessly manage and partner across disciplines; engineering, process business intelligence, capability leads and others.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Preferred:
Experience setting up, managing, measuring performance, and ensuring compliance of a vendor managed service.
Hand-on knowledge of managing project delivery through Azure DevOps , proficiency in scoping user stories and creating and tracking to meaningful success criteria for each.
